What this site is about…

Hello my name is Christian Psencik (Puh-Sin-Sick), and I’m here because I am passionate about helping business and entrepreneurs use technology to be more successful!  Technology can free up a tremendous amount of time, it can help you be more productive, and help you not do a lot of the things that you just don’t like doing! Specifically I am fascinated with ways that we can set up automated systems to handle many parts of our digital lives.

I get a rush every time I find a way that technology can make my life easier, and I want to share that with you!

I know what it’s like to have dozens of new twitter followers and messages, each of which needs some interaction, such as a “Thanks for retweeting that!” but I’m not sure if I have already thanked them or not.

I know what it’s like when to change the profile picture on each and every social media channel, not only is it just boring, but just trying to remember all the passwords is a nightmare!

I know what it’s like to be bored to tears and mutter to myself, “There has to be a better way!” And I am here to gather and share these “better ways”!

Business automation isn’t just for assembly lines; no, it’s for our daily lives as well.  A simple task of trying to remember a brilliant idea while driving or washing the dishes is ripe for this sort of automation! You don’t want to use a pen and paper while driving – that’s dangerous! Trying to open up Evernote and type or even trying to hit the little mic button for voice dictation on the keyboard once you have Evernote open is also dangerous while driving.  Also paper and pen, as well as your phone cannot be used with your elbow very effectively while washing the dishes! We need to capture these ideas now! Where is the automation for the basic things?? What else in your life could be automated and save you a few minutes? How many of these things can you implement and how many minutes and hours can you free up each day? These are the questions that I seek to answer, please join me on this journey to Prolific Success!

That is why I am here to help you to automate your business, make more money, free up your time and be more successful overall!

It wasn’t long ago that I was overwhelmed and confused trying to get my business off the ground. There are so many small things that need to be done throughout the day that anyone and everyone forgets at least a few.  Then I started to look into all of the wonderful tools there are out there online to help you stay productive, tools like Evernote, Dropbox, Asana, and Gmail. I also found a service called “if this then that” or IFTTT which is pronounced like “gift” without the G”.  This service lets me tie these tools and many others together.  And it was at this point, realizing the power of IFTTT that, suddenly, like a beam of sunlight through the clouds, I could see a solution to so many problems!  I began implementing these and over time I have gradually been able to take on more and more into my daily life without being overwhelmed!  At a local meet up we were talking and the topic came up about using virtual assistants, and what each of us were outsourcing. I was very surprised to hear that many of the things I had working through automatic systems I had set up, these other entrepreneurs were using their virtual assistants for. I started to explain to them how I had done this and needless to say they were quite impressed!  But more than just impressing a few other people I realized that this really is not all that common of knowledge! They asked for many details, they emailed and messaged me repeatedly, all asking for help in setting systems up for their businesses.  And even today I still get a multitude of questions requesting help, asking for tech answers to the various specific needs that each business has!  I love helping people but alas, there are only so many hours in the day!  In the true spirit of automation, this website is now the answer, for many people, and not just for the ones that come to me, but for everyone including myself!  I look forward to learning from you guys too!

It hasn’t always been easy.  I have run into many problems including feeling very overwhelmed by the sheer volume of options that each service offers, in addition to figuring out the specifics on how to connect them.

Figuring out how to set up labels in Gmail felt like a huge accomplishment but when that is just one small step in a long chain of actions it can get frustrating and I certainly understand a step-by-step guide. Some of the things I started to automate and thought would be pure genius turned out to be a violation of the terms of service for some sites!  I am a technical guy and even I get confused by some of the technical details and I certainly understand the need for an organized place and step-by-step instructions on how to accomplish a certain outcome.

Now I have spent many hours searching, reading, organizing the data, and learning about many of these systems. And now, when I have a problem, I now know exactly what tools are at my disposal and I know how to quickly automate a solution.  I may even already have an automation setup just waiting to be turned on, or one that’s similar that I can copy and make only minor changes to.  Streamlining the automation or as I like to say, “I’m automating the automation process.”

For example one problem I saw recently was that even with the push notifications on my iPhone I still miss important things. Sometimes I’m waiting for an important email from a particular person or on a particular topic and I’ll even add them to the “VIP” senders on my phone to get a special ring tone or notification when they contact me. But even then, if it’s extremely important, I also now know how to set up a rule that will send me a text message or even call my phone when a certain trigger happens, such as I get an email from one of these important people.

Another example of a “problem” that I wanted to automate:

“When I have a stroke of genius I want to be able to capture that as quickly as possible no matter what I’m doing, and I want it captured into a place that I trust and that I will look at when I’m in a position to implement it. And sometimes my hands are not free to type it into my phone or write it down on a notebook.”

To solve this problem I set up a special contact in my phone that was tied to Evernote with a special rule to always append to the end of a specific note called “brilliant ideas”.  All I have to do is press and hold the center button to activate Siri and say “Text to Evernote, write a blog post on automatically filtering email based on XY and Z to solve cure world hunger with rubber chickens and recycled socks!” (Hey, not all ideas are winners but its about FLOW, and idea capture right?) Anyway, the note it goes straight into Evernote exactly where I want it and when I sit down to work on my business this idea it is exactly where all of my “brilliant ideas” are.

I was so excited to share this with my friends at the meet up and in my weekly mastermind!  Here is what a friend of mine at a local meet up had to say when I was able to help him set up some automation:

You’re a freaking magician. Thanks for figuring that out! I am telling you an IFTTT course/guide would be a hit. Many people still don’t know the product exists, let alone best practices for using it!

Others have told me about how much time they are able to save now and mental bandwidth that has been made available. But more than that, it’s just cool! It’s almost like I have an army of robots at my bidding! Yes, here we will teach you digital world domination! (kidding!!)

And now I want to help you get the same results.  The first step is simple, just enter your email address below and I will send you a welcome email with everything you need to get started today!
